During my time in the DMST Alumni, I was given the opportunity to participate in a new (at the time) project of the Athens University of Economics & Business, the DMST Media! More specifically, along with the team of the DMST Alumni at the time, Elena Kondyli, Alexios Dimitropoulos, Dimitris Kontakis, Kallia Kypriotaki and Nikos Drosos, we started our weekly web-radio show, titled “The Graduates”, every Tuesday from 17.00 to 19.00. My involvement in DMST Media started on December 2011 and ended on May 2013, mainly due to our hectic work schedule that did not allow us to be punctual with our radio shows anymore.
During this show, we had the opportunity to discuss issues revolving around work ethics, job search and in general, topics that were of interest for the DMST graduates. We invited colleagues and former DMST students to discuss about their professional experience and tried our best to offer to the DMST Alumni and everyone listening to the show, a “version” of the work reality as it stood in Greece at the time! (Our Facebook group, still active, may be found here!)
It was a wonderful experience for all of us, and personally for me it was the start of a journey that continues today in FM-Voice, a web-radio that focuses on Finance & Markets. More details about this new project will come in a new post!
